My sister filled me in on a healthy "tortilla" called Flatout Flatbread.
They are multi-grain wraps and each one has only 100 calories. They are a bit pricier than regular tortillas, $2.99 for 7 tortillas, but they are oh so filling. You can find them near your bakery/deli. You can check their website to see if a store near you carries them.
I picked some up and used them to make a tuna wrap first. Tuna, red bell pepper, cheese and a little salt and pepper. Yum!
She recommended I try making pesto pizzas with them. The other night the hubby was coming home late from work and I didn't feel like making anything too fancy for me and the kiddo so I pulled out a flat out tortilla, some leftover spaghetti sauce in the fridge, and some tomatoes, red bell pepper, onion and cheese. I didn't have mozerella but cheddar worked just fine! Then I cooked up a little chicken.
I spread a little sauce, added my toppings, topped it with cheese and popped it in the oven at 400 for about 8 minutes...just until the cheese was melted.
Mmm Mmm! Quick, easy and healthy pizza.
Whole wheat is hearty and filling. I could barely finish this myself. I'll be making this again for sure, I want to try it with Pesto as recommended by my sister and I bet a chicken spinach alfredo would be good too!

Those are good, aren't they?? They are delicious just with lunch meat and cheese making a yummy wrap, and I've also eaten them with scrambled eggs inside!
