Admitted Slacker...

I must admit that I am a slacker! I didn't find anyone for today's featured shop, so guess what, you get me! Here goes my shameless self-promotion...

My name is Amy and I live in Mesa, AZ. I am soon to be a stay at home mom of a beautiful baby girl, born Christmas Eve. My husband and I will soon be transferring up to Salt Lake City for his work, and I will be able to stay home with my daughter and focus more time on our family, and on etsy. If you haven't guessed already, she is the one that inspired me to start making hair bows. My sister decided we should learn, and so we gathered up some ribbon and supplies and went to town teaching ourselves. It's history from there!

I love just about any craft. The first time I tole painted was at a young women's church youth group meeting when I was about 14 and realized I really enjoyed it. Since then I have enjoyed painting just about anything, but tend to go crazy around the holidays with decorations. Lately I've been focusing on hair bows, but every now and then you might find a pillow, a sign, or something cute for your home that you really don't need but have to have!

For quite a few years now I've had a dream to open a little boutique in a small downtown area. Until that dream comes reality, you can find me on etsy! Along with being an admitted slacker, I'm also an admitted blog stalker, it must run in the family. My sister came across The Nester's blog, then I came across her blog and I saw a link to etsy. I decided it was worth a shot. I signed up in April, but it took me another month or so to get up the nerve to actually do anything with my shop. I've learned there's A LOT of competition on etsy and its a lot more work than I thought, but I'm not giving up on it! CLICK HERE to go on in and take a look!
