Since June's birthstone is Pearl, today's "finds" highlight some gorgeous pearl items on Etsy, all $15.00 or less!

Natural pearls are pretty rare, and once only Royalty wore pearls...no wonder I feel so special when I put on a pearl necklace and earrings! Natural, fresh water, or faux pearls, they all make you feel a little glamorous!

Growing up, my parents hated that my "fav" color changed almost weekly. I went through a yellow phase, but I was so picky about the shade of yellow. Not too bright, not too dark, not too light. It had to be just the right shade. I was a major pain to go clothes shopping with, and an even bigger pain to shop for!

Not much has changed, I'm still a pain to shop with and I still love yellow... I might just be a little less picky about the exact shade.

If you haven't read Make it and Love It's Blog, you should. Ashley is wonderfully talented! I saw a pair of paisley infant shoes in her shop and knew that would be this Friday's theme! I fell in love with the material she used a couple months and have used it to make my daughter a dress, an appliqued owl shirt and two bow holders. I also intend to use it to make her a quilt along with pink and brown polka dots, harlequin, and stripe materials.
